Mark joined Chambers in February 2009 and practises in all areas of serious crime, including attempted murder, kidnap, blackmail, death by dangerous driving, armed robbery, perverting the course of justice and large scale drug importations. His particular speciality lies in the prosecution of complex fraud, having developed a reputation for deploying the evidence in a straightforward manner that is readily understood by a jury. He is regularly instructed on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service as a leading junior, in such cases. He has also been instructed by the Serious Fraud Office and the Fraud Prosecution Service. He has considerable experience of confiscation proceedings under both the old and new regimes, and has developed expertise in cases involving mobile phone and cell site analysis. He has prosecuted serious cases on behalf of the Flying Squad, Trident and the Middle Market Drugs Project.

Mark is a Grade 4 prosecutor on the CPS Panel.  He is also on the Serious Crime Group Panel at level 4 and the Fraud Panel at level 4.
